CCIA DPICL Training focuses on lift planning, hazard identification, risk control, communications, lifting equipment, personnel responsibilities, and the safe execution of offshore lifting operations.
Lift Planning & Risk Control
Develop the ability to plan lifting operations, identify hazards, assess operational risks, establish appropriate controls, and confirm that lifting activities can be performed safely.
Lifting Operations & Communication
Develop effective coordination between the person in charge of the lift, crane operator, banksman/signaller, rigging personnel, and other members of the lifting team. Apply clear communications throughout the lifting operation.
Operational Competence & Safety
Demonstrate the knowledge, judgements, leadership, and safety awareness required to coordinate lifting operations, respond appropriately to changing conditions, and maintain control throughout the lift.
