What Stage 1 Covers
Stage 1 provides the foundation for safe offshore crane operations, introducing essential crane knowledge, lifting principles, hazard awareness, communications, lifting equipment, and safe operating practices.
Crane Fundamentals
Understand offshore crane components, basic operating principles, crane terminology, controls, and safety systems.
Lifting & Rigging Safety
Develop knowledge of lifting equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, load control, basic lifting principles, and pre-use checks.
Safe Offshore Operations
Learn hazard awareness, communications, safe operating practices, personnel responsibilities, and the fundamentals of safe lifting operations.
Stage 1 Training Outcomes
